D. René Wynkoop, CPA
René has over 30 years of experience assisting small businesses and individuals with their tax and accounting needs. She is your go-to source and can answer your questions in ways you can understand. She has worked with local and regional firms in Boone County as well as in the Indianapolis area. She has also worked in the corporate and retail arenas which gives her a good understanding of the day-to-day demands that small business owners face.
René graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She holds a Certified Public Accountant’s license from the State of Indiana and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. She has served on the board of the American Red Cross and in many volunteer capacities in her community.
René is married with two daughters. She lives in rural Boone County with her husband Mike and daughter, Sam (plus dog- Ziva). Her older daughter and son-in-law live in Tippecanoe county with her twin grandsons. Her daughter Sam is an HVAC technician.
In her spare time, she's trying not to get too muddy at one of the mudbogging events in which the whole family participates. She also enjoys reading, studying scriptures and doing ceramics.
